Police are hunting for a wanted man in York.
He is Jason Daniel Rhodes, 33, of Union Terrace. He was sentenced to 55 weeks’ imprisonment last August for having a bladed article in a public place.
Rhodes is alleged to have been involved in suspected violent incidents which have led to him being recalled to prison.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “It is believed he is likely to still be in the York area while evading the police.”
Rhodes was a key figure in the trial of Ian Franklin, who was convicted in April of murdering young father Greg Marshall on the Bell Farm Estate in York.
Police are appealing for anyone who knows where Rhodes is, or has seen a man matching his photograph, to call them on 101.
For immediate sightings, you’re asked to dial 999.
