Emergency services are at a riverside incident in York tonight.

Police have cordoned off an area of the path next to the Ouse, close to Rowntree Park.

One witness said they saw a teenager with blood on his hands who told them his friend had been stabbed.

We are not able to verify this report yet.

At around 8pm the Yorkshire Air Ambulance landed in a field close to Millennium Bridge. It departed a few minutes later.

A police officer close to the cordon has been turning away pedestrians and cyclists.

More when we get it.
