Police have been called in to investigate after two car fires in York.
Firefighters from Acomb and York were called out to the fires in the Clifton area shortly before 1am this morning.
They put out the flames but the cars were badly damaged.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said it was possible they were deliberately ignited.
They have handed the case over to police for further investigation.
