Police are increasing their activity at a York shopping centre.
It follows a spate of trouble at Foss Island Retail Park.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’ve been conducting additional plain clothes and high visibility patrols at Foss Island Retail Park today, in response to reports of thefts and anti-social behaviour in the area.
“Our officers are committed to supporting local retailers and ensuring our community remains safe and secure.
“We will continue to be vigilant in deterring criminal activity and protecting our businesses from those who seek to cause harm.
“Thank you for your support as we work together to keep our area safe.”
