Little Bird Made is returning to Acomb High Street this weekend.
This will be the popular artisan market’s first visit since the regeneration of the High Street.
The vibrant showcase of local talent and artisan products will take place on Saturday 15 February from 10am to 3pm.
It will run every third Saturday of the month throughout 2025.
The market features makers from all corners of Yorkshire, and gives visitors the chance to meet the people behind hand crafting the goods that you purchase.
Jackie Crozier, owner and managing director of Little Bird said about the return, “Since the launch of Acomb Artisan Market in March 2024, this event has had fantastic support from residents and tourists, and we are extremely excited to be back after the regeneration last year.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our Little Bird artisans to showcase their talents and for the community to celebrate the diverse creativity and support local businesses.”
Stephanie Hancock, owner of Makka Rakka, a preloved children’s wear business, said, “I’ve been trading with Little Bird across North Yorkshire for nearly two years, so I was thrilled to hear that a much-needed market was coming to Front Street in 2024.
“Acomb Market is on my home turf, and it’s been a fantastic addition to our vibrant community. There’s different independent traders to discover every month, and we cannot wait to welcome you.”
