There’s been a serious police incident in York.
It’s in the Tang Hall area.
Three police vans are outside a home on the corner of Fourth Avenue and Sixth Avenue.
There’s police tape cordoning off both the gate to the house and the gate to the garden.
Crime scene investigation officers have been seen taking photographs inside the property.
Neighbours said police officers have been in the area since early this morning.
They have been asking people if they saw anything suspicious. An ambulance was also spotted at the scene.
Officers on guard at the scene said they couldn’t give any information.
