Firefighters from six stations were called to a barn fire near Pickering last night (Sunday).
Crews from Malton, Helmsley, Sherburn and Scarborough along with water bowsers from Tadcaster and Boroughbridge, were called out to Middleton at 6.22pm.
A barn was on fire. It was next to two more barns and a residential property.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews created a water curtain to protect adjacent properties whilst they fought the fire to the barn using hose reel jets.”
