Took 40 minutes to drive 5 miles – home again now after turning round. Very scary journey. I had a crash in the snow a few years back and I’m so scared of driving in it now. pic.twitter.com/BkVxH4Ci4r

Just taken key worker to Tadcaster, we were met by 4 Police vehicles with ‘blues & twos’ heading towards York (Eastbound) Not sure if they were heading to Amotherby or elsewhere, but on untreated roads it’s treacherous this morning as melted snow has frozen & fresh snow fallen!

Beautiful snowy image of the boarding houses yesterday, caught by @boothamboarders 🌨🌨🌨🌨 It strikes us how timeless the image is, what was your memory of snow at Bootham? #BoothamBoarders #BoothamSchool #SnowDay pic.twitter.com/hDnkePqbHx
