Cheers! This week, three York pubs will be giving away pints of beer.
And free G&Ts and Cokes!
It’s all to celebrate the tenth anniversary of pub company, Craft Union.
Guests will receive one free drink on Wednesday (14 May) while stocks last.
You can choose from
- a pint of Birra Moretti
- a single Gordons and mixer
- or a regular glass Coca-Cola product such as Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero, Diet Coke, or Schweppes Lemonade.
All you have to do is turn up and ask for your free drink at one of Craft Union’s York pubs. And they are
- the Nags Head, Micklegate
- Punchbowl, Lowther Street
- Roman Bath, St Sampson’s Square.
The Red Lion in Market Weighton is also part of the beer giveaway.
Craft Union are also raising money for local causes, donating 10p from every pint sold on the day – with £20,000 expected to be raised.
Each individual pub will choose a local cause to donate their funds too, with four local causes in York set to receive a donation from the tenth anniversary celebrations.
Finally, there’s a chance to win £10,000. Every pint purchased on the day will come with a QR code giving guests the chance to enter the big birthday giveaway.
The winner will be contacted the following day.
