A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged with sexual assault in relation to an incident reported on Saturday (October 28) in Lawrence Street, York.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before York Magistrates Court on Wednesday (November 1).
Police thanked everyone who shared their appeal for information.

Police release CCTV after sex assault in York B&B
Police want to talk to this man after a woman was sexually assaulted in a York B&B.
The incident happened at 12.50am on Saturday (October 28). A 20-year-old woman was touched inappropriately by a man in the reception area of a bed and breakfast on Lawrence Street.
Officers are appealing for information to help identify the man in the CCTV images.
The man did not have permission to be on the premises and after the assault he left on foot heading in the direction of Melrosegate.
Officers want to speak to the man in the images in connection with the incident and are appealing for the public’s help to identify him.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
