A traffic light has been knocked down on a busy York corner today (Wednesday).
It happened during this morning’s rush hour.
The light on the corner of Low Ousegate and Nessgate has been left bent and mangled.
Witnesses say a wagon took it out while cornering.
There is no sign of the wagon now. The road is still clear and operating normally.
Police are putting up barriers around the damaged light.
