Sunday’s Press Family Race Day is easily the most relaxed afternoon of the year at Knavesmire, writes YorkMix tipster Dick Turpin.

But the racing is far from relaxed, with a tremendous contest promised for the big event, The Betfred Garrowby Stakes (3.00).

Edward Lynham’s Fort Del Oro impressed mightily recently at the Curragh and should have the measure of George Margason’s Lucky Kristale over the six furlong sprint.

Turpin expects a strong showing from Kevin Ryan’s Online Alexander too. The filly caught the eye over this distance when second at Pontefract last time, and any market move should be noted.

In the Irish Champions Weekend EBF Maiden Stakes (3.35), Top Of The Bank looks the one to be on.

Ryan’s son of Piccolo has been knocking on the door several times already, but looks set to lose the maiden tag over this sharp 5 furlongs.
