A woman has been taken to hospital after her car crashed into a tree near Northallerton.
Emergency services were called to the collision in Thrintoft at 8.05pm last night (Friday).
Both Northallerton fire crews went to the scene where they found a Nissan Juke had hit the tree.

No other vehicle was involved.
Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to rescue the woman driver, aged 42, from the car. She was taken to hospital with significant leg injuries.
