York Restaurant Week is set to return to the city next month – and this time it’s actually two weeks.

Running from 10-23 March 2025, the eleventh edition offers diners the chance to indulge in some of the best dishes York has to offer.

For the first time ever, there’s now two weeks to enjoy the incredible deals from over 100 participating restaurants.

It’s the perfect opportunity to discover new spots in the city, or revisit an old favourite.

The wide range of offers include casual light bites to fine dining experiences and with prices varying between £5 – £30, the event caters to all budgets.

Some of the culinary favourites taking part this March include Ambiente Tapas, Trembling Madness Lendal, and Fat Hippo.

The event takes place twice annually during March and October and is organised by the York Improvement Business District (York BID).

There’s no limit to the amount of vouchers you can claim, but with high demand expected, diners are encouraged to book ahead of time.

Chris Bush, York BID Business Manager and event coordinator, said: “Since its launch in 2019, York Restaurant Week has become one of the UK’s biggest events of its kind.

“The continued success reflects the vibrant food and drink scene here in York, and we’re incredibly proud to celebrate this first-ever two-week special edition.

“With more time to explore, we hope even more people can take advantage of these fantastic deals and support York’s hospitality businesses.”

The previous edition of York Restaurant Week held in October 2024 was the most successful edition to date.

The week saw records broken with over 22,000 vouchers downloaded, amounting to almost £400,000 in estimated revenue for participating businesses.

This reflects a 70% increase from the same period in 2023 and continues to highlight the event’s positive economic impact on York’s hospitality industry.

Since its inception, York Restaurant Week has generated an estimated £1.8 million for local businesses.
