Investigations are underway after a break-in at a York swimming pool.
Yearsley Pool on Haley’s Terrace was broken into in the early hours of Tuesday morning (14 May). The pool will be closed until this afternoon while police investigate.
A spokesperson for GLL, which runs the pool, said:

Following a break-in at Yearsley Pool in the early hours of this morning, the intruder alarm went off and the police were notified.
Police are attending the scene to collect evidence and the pool remains closed until this afternoon.
Customers can use Energise Leisure Centre while Yearsley is closed.
